How to use the assessment
A concise, practical guide for the two roles that bring an assessment to completion: the company coordinator who distributes it, and the employee who completes it.
You are the point of contact between Epsilon and your team. A few straightforward steps keep the process running smoothly.
-
Receive the assessment details from Epsilon
Epsilon provides the assessment link, a 12-digit access code, and the open and close dates. Keep these together — they are everything your team requires to participate.
-
Distribute the link and access code to your employees
Send both to the nominated staff with a brief note covering what the assessment is, its approximate duration of 20–25 minutes, and the deadline. A clear, single-line message prevents most queries.
-
Remind staff to complete it before the closing date
The assessment opens and closes automatically on the scheduled dates. Once closed, submissions are no longer accepted, so an early reminder to complete it in good time is recommended.
-
One employee, one attempt, corporate email
Each employee completes the assessment once, independently, using their corporate email address. It is an individual exercise rather than a team activity.
-
Contact Epsilon for results, extensions, or retakes
For results, a deadline extension, or to authorise a retake for an employee, contact your Epsilon coordinator, who will action the request from their side.
Completing the assessment takes approximately 20–25 minutes. The steps below outline exactly what to expect.
-
Open the link on your phone or computer
The assessment runs on any device. Choose whichever is more convenient for you.
-
Enter the access code when prompted
If requested, enter the 12-digit access code your company shared with you. It takes you directly to your assessment.
-
Complete your details and verify if required
Enter your name, corporate email, and any other requested information. You may be asked to confirm a code sent to your email; email verification may or may not be required.
-
Read the brief introduction
A short introduction explains what the assessment covers. It takes only a moment and prepares you for the questions.
-
Answer every question honestly
Read the introduction carefully before you begin. Depending on the assessment, questions may be behavioral (with no single right answer) or technical, and some programs assume prior experience — so read each question closely and answer honestly, to the best of your ability.
-
Review your answers, then submit
Review your responses and submit. Note that you have a single attempt, so complete the assessment in one sitting — approximately 20–25 minutes — before the deadline.
- Use a stable internet connection and avoid refreshing the page during the assessment.
- Completing the assessment early, rather than at the last minute, is recommended and avoids the pressure of the closing period.
